Minami's tradition and hospitality, formed from its long history

Our inn, Minami, was originally an annex of Minamikan, a hotel(ryokan) established in Matsue in 1888. Here in Tamatsukuri Onsen,
we carry on a tradition of hospitality and the spirit of good service. We treasure every encounter with our guests.
Come enjoy the steamy waters of Tamatsukuri Onsen, one of the best hot springs in the San'in region, and taste our traditional cooking made from local ingredients.
Plus, we have over 100 guest rooms, each with their own unique charm, and our hotel facilities leave little to be desired.
Enjoy some time for pure relaxation at Kasuien Minami.

SPA

Tamatsukuri Onsen is one of the finest hot springs in the San'in region. These waters have been called "Kami-no-Yu"—bath of the gods—since ancient times.

People have enjoyed the waters of Tamatsukuri for over 1,300 years. It was written in Izumo Fudoki, an ancient writing on the local culture, that one bath in Kami-no-Yu will make you beautiful, and a second will cure any ailment. Even now, this bath of the gods soothes the bodies of travelers.

The San'in region is blessed with seafood from the Sea of Japan. Savor seasonal ingredients prepared with traditional methods that have been passed down from our predecessor, Minamikan—a long-standing ryokan. Every dish that is meant to be served hot is served while it's still hot.
